PixZap AI is a photo and video service operated through WhatsApp. You send an image and describe the change, then receive a generated result in the conversation. Its main appeal is a familiar chat workflow. Before uploading personal photos or buying credits, understand its per-operation charges, retention policy and limits.

What can PixZap AI do?

The official catalog lists restoration, object removal, background changes and image-to-video tools. Listed examples include basic edits at 1 credit, background changes at 2, Animate at 4, Reel at 6 and Passport / ID at 12. Some catalog entries are marked “Soon,” so a listing does not always mean a feature is available.

The Remove service accepts a photo and a text instruction identifying what to erase. PixZap says it reconstructs the background. Its Headshots page requests one to five selfies and advertises themed portrait packs at 3 credits per run. These are vendor-described capabilities, not independently measured results.

Pricing: count credits, not finished edits

The pricing section displays packs of 15, 30, 70 and 160 credits, alongside a subscription option. It advertises 5 introductory credits. Because operations have different charges, five credits do not guarantee five outputs of any type. The homepage says trial results carry a watermark and paid credits produce watermark-free results.

Under the terms updated July 14, 2026, packs are one-time purchases; subscriptions renew monthly or yearly until cancelled. Unused subscription credits roll over while the subscription is active. Cancellation takes effect at the billing period’s end. Purchases are generally non-refundable, with exceptions for applicable consumer law and technical faults that consume credits without delivering a result.

The service FAQ says credits do not expire “mid-pack,” without specifying a calendar expiry rule. Check the status of any remaining balance before cancelling. We omit monetary prices because the reviewed public listings use a dollar symbol without an explicit currency code. Confirm currency, total charge, billing interval and credit allowance at purchase.

Privacy: there is no current 24-hour deletion promise

The privacy policy updated July 14, 2026 says PixZap retains content and chat history for generating results, continuing edits, support and service improvement. It allows deletion requests, but does not state automatic deletion after 24 hours. It says photos, videos and voice notes are not used to train AI models.

The policy identifies WhatsApp/Twilio, AI model providers, cloud storage and Stripe as service providers. Therefore, the homepage’s broad no-sharing language should not be read as a promise that no other company processes data. The policy limits sharing to operating PixZap and says providers apply their own privacy and security terms. Result links can be viewed by anyone you forward them to.

Avoid confidential material. Obtain permission before submitting another person’s photo, and keep your original files separately.

A practical example: test one listing photo

Imagine you sell handmade ceramic mugs and want a cleaner listing image. This is a hypothetical workflow, not a report of using PixZap.

  1. Choose a low-risk image. Use your own product photograph without customers, addresses or order slips in the frame. Save an untouched copy before beginning.
  2. Ask for one change. For example: “Remove the loose receipt behind the mug. Keep the mug’s shape, glaze pattern, handle and logo unchanged.” A narrow request makes the result easier to judge.
  3. Compare at full size. Examine the handle opening, printed lettering, rim, reflections and shadow. Reject an output that changes the product, even if the background looks cleaner.
  4. Record the actual cost. Note the credits charged, number of attempts and whether the output was usable. A credit allowance measures purchasing capacity; your accepted-image count depends on how many attempts meet your standards.
  5. Expand only after a pass. Test another photo before paying for a large allowance. If you later want a video, budget for its separate operation and inspect motion for shape changes.

Use our AI assistant acceptance-test worksheet to record the task, expected result, observed errors and pass/fail decision. A small repeatable test is more useful than judging a tool from a single attractive sample.

Limits and who it suits

PixZap’s terms state that outputs are automated, without manual retouching, and do not guarantee accuracy, realism or artistic quality. Identical requests can produce different results. Users must have the necessary rights and consent, and must not present generated imagery deceptively.

PixZap may suit occasional edits and creative experiments when you already use WhatsApp and can review each output. For exact product representation, archival fidelity or tightly controlled client work, define your acceptance criteria first.
