Looking for Flowrite’s email-writing tool? Maestro Labs has acquired Flowrite, the email-writing division of Flow AI, and is integrating that business into MailMaestro. The official transition announcement directs former Flowrite users to MailMaestro. Flow AI continues separately as a platform for evaluating and improving language-model systems.
What changed for Flowrite users?
This page keeps the Flowrite name to help people find the product’s current destination. Older Flowrite descriptions, plan names and prices should not be treated as current offers. The announcement does not establish that an existing subscription, saved template or account automatically transfers. If you previously paid for Flowrite, check your account notices and ask the provider about your specific billing or access arrangements before buying a replacement.
What MailMaestro offers now
MailMaestro is an AI email assistant for Outlook and Gmail. Its advertised functions include drafting messages from instructions, revising wording, preparing replies and summarizing email conversations. Templates and shortcuts can help with recurring messages. These are vendor-described capabilities, not an independent speed or quality benchmark.
- Writing: turn the points you want to communicate into a draft, then adjust its wording.
- Replies: prepare a response with the conversation’s context, while checking that it answers the actual request.
- Summaries: use a shorter overview to navigate a long thread, then return to the original messages for important details.
MailMaestro’s pricing comparison lists an Outlook add-in for Windows, Mac and the web, plus a Gmail Chrome extension and web dashboard. Some functions, including attachment summaries, email reminders and Ask AI, are marked Outlook-only. Check the platform comparison rather than assuming every feature works identically in Gmail.
Current pricing, rather than old Flowrite plans
At the time of this review, the official MailMaestro pricing page lists:
- Free: $0, with three AI requests per week for composing, replying to or improving emails.
- Pro, annual billing: $12 per seat per month, charged as $144 per seat each year.
- Enterprise: custom pricing through sales.
Email and thread summaries are included in Pro and Enterprise, not the Free plan.
These are the dollar amounts displayed on the source page; the final currency and local taxes appear at checkout. The annual rate is not a monthly-payment quote. The provider also offers monthly billing. Its FAQ says subscriptions renew automatically and annual plans are non-refundable after purchase; manage or cancel before the next billing date. Check the current terms before subscribing. The former Flowrite Light, Premium and Unlimited prices previously shown here have been removed because they are not a verified current offer.
Is it a good fit for your workflow?
An email assistant may be useful when you repeatedly draft follow-ups, introductions or routine replies in Outlook or Gmail. Start with a non-sensitive message you already know how to write. Compare the draft with your own version: did it retain the intended meaning, use an appropriate tone and avoid adding promises?
For example, give it the recipient’s role, your purpose, the points that must appear and the next action you want. Then check names, dates, amounts, attachments and commitments before sending. Do not allow polished language to hide a factual mistake. A summary is a navigation aid, not a substitute for reading a contract or an important customer message.
Before connecting a work mailbox, review the requested permissions, the provider’s privacy information and your organization’s rules. Mailbox access and automatic actions deserve a separate decision from trying a writing suggestion. This article does not verify the provider’s security certifications or guarantee how it handles your data.
Frequently asked questions
Is Flowrite now called MailMaestro?
The official announcement describes an acquisition and integration of Flowrite’s email-writing business into MailMaestro. It does not say that all of Flow AI has been renamed.
Can I use the old Flowrite plans?
Do not rely on the old prices in third-party listings. Existing customers should confirm their account arrangements with the provider; new users should review MailMaestro’s current plans.
Is there an app?
MailMaestro offers integrations for Outlook and Gmail. That is more useful information than a blanket “no app” label, but it does not establish a separate native mobile app or identical mobile support.
