| Name | MemoryLane AI |
| Overview | MemoryLane AI helps older adults capture life stories through guided conversations, including voice mode. Its official reminiscence page still describes written books, audio books and video snippets. The same provider now presents geni (by MemoryLane) as a mobile companion with reminders, phone guidance and family updates; it is not a dedicated voice-recording device. The storytelling features remain relevant, but the earlier book-package prices should not be treated as current offers. |

Before recording a family story
Start with one event, review the generated account with the storyteller and correct factual errors before sharing. Agree which relatives may receive updates and obtain permission before uploading someone else’s photos or private information. The privacy policy describes collecting account and permitted camera/audio data, and using anonymized data for AI training. Review those terms rather than assuming conversations stay only on the device.
