Komiko App, currently branded KomikoAI, is a web-based creative platform for anime-style art, original characters, comics and animation. Its official homepage also presents character chat, voice generation and image-editing tools. These are tools for developing and revising visual ideas, rather than a guarantee of publication-ready artwork.
This overview uses public product pages and policies. We have not generated artwork, uploaded a reference, tested character consistency or bought a subscription. The homepage links separately to WorldOS; that promotion should not be treated as proof that Komiko has closed or that a Komiko plan includes another product.
What Can You Create?
The platform combines image and video generation with original-character creation and comic workflows. Its tool directory includes background removal, image upscaling, line-art colorization and animation utilities. Availability in a menu does not establish that every model or tool costs the same number of credits.
The comic generator describes a story-prompt workflow with style choices, generated panels and dialogue. Its public interface includes reference controls and a “Public Generate” label. Check the visibility setting before creating anything you intend to keep private. Review lettering, panel order and visual continuity yourself; a fluent story description does not guarantee a coherent finished page.
Pricing and How Zaps Work
The pricing page displays monthly Starter at $9.99 for 5,000 Zaps, Plus at $19.99 for 15,000, and Premium at $49.99 for 50,000. Parallel video limits are three, five and ten respectively. Paid plans advertise watermark-free output; Enterprise is quoted separately.
New users are offered 500 signup Zaps. Daily claim allowances are 80 on Free, 100 on Starter, 120 on Plus and 160 on Premium; daily credits expire at local midnight. Subscription credits refresh monthly without rollover. These are different credit pools, not unlimited generation.
Annual billing and one-time packs are listed, but their exact purchase amounts were not verified. Confirm currency, taxes and checkout totals. Advertised image/video totals are alternatives, not simultaneous guaranteed quotas; check the selected tool’s Zap cost before running it.
Plan a Small Creative Test
Fictional example: you want a three-panel comic about an original robot returning a lost umbrella. This is a suggested evaluation exercise, not a result produced with Komiko.
- Write the story before generating. Panel one establishes the lost umbrella, panel two shows the search, and panel three resolves it. Keep dialogue short enough to fit comfortably.
- Define a reference sheet. Choose your robot’s silhouette, colors and one identifying detail. Use only reference material you have permission to upload.
- Test one panel first. Check the character, setting and text before spending credits on a complete sequence. Record the selected model and settings so later comparisons are meaningful.
- Compare continuity. Look for changing clothing, props, hand positions and background details. A similar-looking character is not necessarily consistent enough for your story.
- Review the complete page. Read it at the intended display size. Correct dialogue and layout, and assess whether manual editing would be more efficient than repeated generation.
If you then animate a panel, begin with a simple movement and inspect the whole clip for unwanted changes. Budget for rejected attempts instead of equating every generation with a usable asset. Keep local copies of important drafts and approved versions.
Age, Rights and Subscription Conditions
The terms, updated March 20, 2026, require an account and users aged 18 or older. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access lasts through the paid period. Subscription credits expire when membership ends, while separately purchased credits do not expire. Purchases are generally non-refundable, with stated legal and service-malfunction exceptions.
Komiko does not claim ownership of your generated output, but permitted use remains subject to law and third-party rights. That is not a guarantee of exclusive copyright or clearance to sell recognizable characters. Posting content grants Komiko a service/improvement-related license. The terms also allow prompt and content review or retention; do not assume confidential processing.
Privacy and Sharing Checks
The privacy policy, dated January 22, 2026, identifies Entropia Inc. as operator. It describes public profiles, service-provider sharing including AI providers, analytics and advertising, and international processing. Retention depends on purpose and legal needs rather than a fixed universal deletion deadline.
Ask about private-generation settings, model-provider handling and deletion before uploading client artwork or unpublished designs. A no-sale statement does not mean no data sharing. These are provider disclosures, not an independent security assessment.
Who Might Find Komiko Useful?
Komiko may suit adult illustrators, storytellers and creative teams exploring character concepts or short visual sequences. It is less suitable when you need guaranteed consistency, a fixed number of usable finished assets or rights clearance without further review. We verified the browser-based offering, not a dedicated mobile-app listing or compatibility with every phone.
