Clawdline

Clawdline operates the Claude Code and Codex sessions you already run, from one place, across your machines. It appeared on Show HN on October 31, 2026, and this post is based on its official website, checked on November 1, 2026.

What Clawdline does

Clawdline is not another coding assistant: it reads the terminals you already have open and organizes your existing Claude Code and Codex sessions. The session list shows who is working, who needs you, and whose screen is unreadable. You can answer an agent’s question, leave a to-do, pass work to another session and get the result back in the original conversation, and follow every stage of an assignment from review to deployment on a board, with evidence at each step.

Clawdline Cloud lets sessions on different machines work together: Codex on your Mac can discover projects and sessions on Linux, dispatch work to Claude Code, and exchange progress messages, with results waking the source session so its agent resumes. A phone app keeps the conversation going away from your desk, with web push when a session has waited too long, and schedules plus webhooks start sessions on a clock.

Local first

Everything works without Cloud, and running work continues when Cloud is away. Execution and the content key stay on hardware you own; Cloud carries signed ciphertext between your devices and never becomes another machine that can read or run your work. The project is open source, and install is one command on macOS or Linux, with no account and no change to how you work.

Who it is for

Clawdline suits developers running several coding-agent sessions at once: anyone juggling Claude Code and Codex across terminals, teams delegating work between sessions, and developers who want to answer an agent from their phone instead of rushing back to the desk.

Pricing

Clawdline is open source and installs via one command on macOS and Linux. A Cloud Pro tier adds webhooks; no dollar prices are published on the official website at the time of checking. Prices may change, so check the official website for the latest pricing: https://clawdline.com/.
