Agnos cleans your documents before they reach your AI, and shows you exactly what it removed and why. It launched on Product Hunt on October 31, 2026, and this post is based on its official website, checked on November 1, 2026.
What Agnos does
PDFs, Word, Excel, and web pages are full of junk that pollutes retrieval: page numbers, headers and footers, cookie banners, placeholder text, and duplicated boilerplate. Agnos strips that out and exports clean JSONL chunks ready for a chatbot or RAG pipeline. Every removal is shown with the rule behind it, so you can keep a piece where its rule allows or switch the rule off.
The demo on the official site makes it concrete: a meeting-notes file where page markers and web furniture are removed line by line, each labeled with its rule name, before the cleaned text goes downstream.
Privacy and platform
Everything runs on your own PC: nothing is uploaded, and it works with the network off. Agnos is a Windows 10 and 11 app, distributed through the Microsoft Store, and ships with a sample project so you can watch every step on made-up files before adding your own.
Who it is for
Agnos is built for teams feeding documents into RAG or chatbots: knowledge-base owners, support teams grounding answers in manuals, and developers who want cleaner chunks without writing their own cleaning pipeline. If your retrieval keeps quoting cookie banners, this is the tool that removes them first.
Pricing
Everything is free for 14 days with no card. Then it costs $99 once for one person, with no subscription. Prices may change, so check the official website for the latest pricing: https://agnos.cloud/.
