ShogunAI launched on Product Hunt on October 23, 2026, finishing sixth on the daily leaderboard. It is a Mac assistant that keeps up with your work so you do not have to explain it twice: your mail, meetings, docs and chats already hold the answers, and Shogun keeps them in one private memory on your PC, so every question starts with everything you know.

What ShogunAI does

  • Work memory: passive memory capture across your email, calendar and documents, with natural-language recall. Ask in plain words, and it finds the thread, the decision and the people behind it.
  • Meeting prep and notes: walk in with the agenda, the last conversation and the decision behind it already together. It takes notes in your meetings and keeps a private visual history of your screen, so you can ask what was said and drag back to the moment.
  • Write in your voice: hold the right Option key in any app, and Shogun continues your sentence in your voice, using the thread, the doc and the people in it. Let go to keep it, or keep typing to skip it.
  • From first thought to last follow-up: prepare a reply with the relevant work context already included, then edit, review and approve it, or discard it. The final say is yours.
  • Works alongside your apps: Gmail, Notion, Cursor, GitHub, Perplexity, LinkedIn, Figma, Dropbox, Telegram, Google Sheets, Calendar, Slack, Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Linear, Discord, WhatsApp, Google Meet and Google Docs.
  • Translation, meeting notes and reply drafts, together: one assistant for the moments that move your work, instead of a stack of separate subscriptions.

Privacy

Your memory is stored on your PC. Only the slice a request needs ever leaves it, and you approve anything that reaches another person. Screenshots stay encrypted on your PC and delete themselves after 1 to 7 days, or a time you choose. Meeting audio is never saved: only the transcript is kept. Password managers, banking and private windows are never captured. The makers state plainly that you pay for Shogun, and your work is never the product.

Who it is for

ShogunAI targets Mac users whose work lives across email, meetings and documents and who want one assistant that already knows the context, from meeting prep to the final follow-up, without sending their work history to someone else’s cloud.

Pricing

The site offers a 7-day free trial of the Mac app. Standard costs $49 a month, billed annually at $588 a year, and includes passive memory capture, natural-language recall, context search across email, calendar and documents, today’s schedule and priorities, and connecting a supported AI service for answers and drafts. A Pro plan is also listed as the most popular option, adding use of ShogunAI memory in other AI tools, review and approval of emails and app actions, and priority support; the site does not show the Pro plan’s price on its pages, so check shogunai.si for current pricing. AI services you connect may charge separately. Pricing may change, so check the official site for current terms.
