Name LangWatch AI
Overview LangWatch AI is a robust LLM‑Ops platform for developers and AI teams. It provides end‑to‑end observability, automated testing, guardrails, prompt tuning, user analytics, and collaboration tools—all wrapped in a dev‑friendly UI and SDKs.
Key features & benefits
  • Observability & Monitoring: OpenTelemetry-based tracing, cost/token metrics, latency, and error alerts.
  • Evaluation & Guardrails: Real-time and offline checks for hallucinations, off-topic content, policy breaches.
  • Prompt Optimization Studio: DSPy-powered prompt tuning with low-code UI.
  • Agent Testing: Multi-turn simulation scenarios help test for regressions.
  • Analytics & Annotation: Track user flows, sentiment, annotations, expert reviews.
  • Collaboration: Team dashboards, projects, Slack/email alerts for streamlined workflows.
Use cases and applications
  • QA & CI/CD pipelines for LLM apps.
  • Regression testing after model or prompt updates.
  • A/B testing prompts, models, or chains.
  • Monitoring chatbots, RAG systems, AI assistants.
  • Supporting security and compliance reviews with checks such as jailbreak detection and PII redaction; checks are not a guarantee of compliance or complete detection.
Who uses? AI developers, ML engineers, product managers, prompt engineers, data scientists, domain experts (legal, compliance, UX), operations leads in AI-centric organizations.
Pricing Current Cloud pricing is shown in euros:

  • Developer (Free): 50,000 events per month, 2 users and 14 days of data access; limits include 3 scenarios, 3 simulations and 3 custom evaluations.
  • Growth: €29 per core seat per month, with 200,000 events included and additional events at €5 per 100,000. Includes unlimited lite users and 30-day retention; extended data storage is listed at €3 per GB.
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing and deployment, security, support and retention arrangements; confirm the agreed scope.

An event is not a trace: an LLM call, tool call, retrieval, evaluation or simulation step can each count separately, so one user interaction may produce several events. Unlimited workflow availability does not mean unlimited free usage. Self-managed arrangements should be checked separately from Cloud prices.

App available? Yes – Cloud and self‑hosted via Docker/Kubernetes, SDKs for Python/TypeScript and REST APIs.

Estimate events with a small test

Instrument one representative workflow, inspect a trace and count its model, tool and evaluation steps. Run a small regression set after a prompt or model change, then review failed cases rather than relying on a single score. Estimate event usage and retention costs from that workload before expanding monitoring, and remove sensitive data that does not need to be logged.
