LiveReview, built by Hexmos, is a risk-aware AI code review tool that scores every pull request for risk and auto-approves the safest ones under the team’s own policy. It launched on Product Hunt on 7 November 2026, where it reached number one Product of the Day.

What it is

Many teams review every pull request the same way, whether the change is a one-line text fix or a risky database migration. LiveReview takes a different approach: it scores each pull request for risk, then auto-approves the lowest-risk 30 to 50% under the team’s policy, so humans review the rest.

The system learns from production incidents and reverts, retraining the organisation’s own model on what actually went wrong in the past. A blast-radius graph shows how far each change reaches, so reviewers can see at a glance which files and services a change touches.

Teams can replay a draft policy on past pull requests before enabling it, which shows how the policy would have behaved on real history instead of asking the team to trust it blindly.

The approach follows Meta’s RADAR research, which LiveReview cites as reporting 50x fewer production incidents, 3x fewer rollbacks and 35% faster reviews. Those figures are Meta’s RADAR research as cited by LiveReview, not LiveReview’s own measured results.

Key features

  • Learning from production incidents and reverts, retraining the organisation’s own model.
  • A blast-radius graph showing how far each change reaches.
  • Replay of a draft policy on past pull requests before enabling it.
  • 10 risk categories and more than 100 failure patterns.
  • Per-repository and per-path approval rules, with the approval decision explained on the pull request.
  • Works with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Gitea and Azure DevOps.
  • Pre-commit review via git-lrc, plus web, CLI, IDE, Slack, Teams, Discord and MCP.
  • Self-hosted or air-gapped deployment, with source available, using your own API keys and infrastructure (Docker).

How it differs from Vera

GPTOnline already lists Vera, from AxiomStudio, a free AI code-review agent published on 6 November 2026. LiveReview is a different product from a different company, Hexmos. Where Vera is presented as an AI code-review agent, LiveReview is built around risk scoring and auto-approval, learning from incidents, and self-hosting, with per-lines-of-code pricing. Teams choosing between them are choosing between two different approaches to the same problem, not two versions of one product.

Who it is for

LiveReview fits engineering teams that spend too much review time on low-risk changes and want senior reviewers focused on the changes that can actually break production. It also fits teams with strict deployment requirements, since it can run self-hosted or air-gapped with their own API keys and infrastructure.

Pricing

The Free plan covers 30k reviewed lines of code per month. Paid plans start from $32 per 100k lines of code, with unlimited users.
