Updated October 16, 2026. This is a review of public product pages and policies. We did not create an account, buy a subscription or run a speaking test.

Image note: The retained image shows an archived Lingolette homepage. Its fluency wording is marketing copy, not evidence of learning results, and the image should not be treated as the current interface.

Lingolette AI combines conversation practice with reading and vocabulary activities. Its official website emphasizes learners moving beyond an intermediate plateau. It may suit someone who wants a topic to discuss and opportunities to speak between lessons. Whether its feedback fits your language, accent and study goals still needs checking in actual use.

Core features

The website describes AI voice conversations with a choice of tutor dialects, daily articles with comprehension questions, and discussions based on those articles. Learners can select words for meanings and pronunciation, then save them to a dictionary. Lingolette also says it adapts to a learner’s level, interests and pace. These are published product descriptions, not performance findings from this review.

The developer’s Google Play listing adds text conversations, grammar assistance, pronunciation feedback, flashcards and spaced-repetition vocabulary practice. It does not establish that every feature works equally well across languages or that a particular correction will be accurate.

A practice example

Imagine an intermediate learner preparing for a café visit. This fictional exercise illustrates a way to organize practice; it is not a transcript or a tested Lingolette session.

  1. Choose a short, everyday topic and note three unfamiliar words.
  2. Explain the main idea aloud in your own words before consulting a translation.
  3. Try a role-play request such as: “Act as a café server. Ask one question at a time and keep the vocabulary simple.”
  4. Ask for an explanation of one correction, then try another sentence using the same pattern.
  5. Keep a short note of uncertain feedback to check with a teacher or reliable reference.

The useful question is whether you get enough relevant practice and understandable explanations to repeat the exercise. Avoid judging the session only by how fluent the synthetic voice sounds. Start with invented names and situations rather than personal travel plans or workplace details.

Free access and pricing

Lingolette’s free-content page describes daily generated reading material using default B1 difficulty, standard voices and no custom vocabulary. It says this material is free, while customization can require a free or paid account. That offer should not be interpreted as unlimited free voice conversations.

The published terms, version October 3, 2025, describe a Premium subscription and temporary Premium access through an internal currency called Gems. They specify 100 Gems on account creation and opportunities to earn more through challenges. They do not translate that balance into a verified number of speaking minutes or sessions.

A current subscription amount, currency, billing interval and exact free speaking allowance could not be confirmed from the live public pages reviewed. Check the offer shown in your account before subscribing, including the total charge, renewal date and any usage limits. A monthly-equivalent figure, if displayed, should be checked against the actual payment schedule.

The terms say cancelling removes Premium access without refunding payments; deleting an account also cancels the subscription without reimbursement of payments or Gems. Read the applicable checkout and store terms before committing.

Apps and languages

The website provides browser access and links to an Android app. Current iPhone and iPad availability was not confirmed during this review. Check the official website for the download route available to you instead of assuming that a search result represents an installable app.

The homepage names English, Spanish, German, Japanese, French, Mandarin, Russian and Korean, with additional languages available. Before paying, check your target language and preferred dialect in the product, along with which activities are available for that combination.

Feedback limits

Pronunciation feedback is advertised, but this review does not establish phoneme-level scoring, accent coverage, correction accuracy or response speed. An AI suggestion is a starting point for checking your understanding, not a proficiency certificate. For exam preparation or an important presentation, have a qualified teacher review the relevant requirements and your performance.

Lingolette’s terms state that article content is AI-generated. Treat reading passages as language practice and verify factual claims elsewhere before using them for school or work. No fluency timetable, exam-score improvement or replacement for human teaching is established here.

Voice privacy

The privacy policy, version June 19, 2025, says voice input undergoes speech-to-text conversion and is deleted from Lingolette’s servers afterward. It states that voice data is neither used to train neural networks nor shared with another party. These are the provider’s statements, not independently audited findings.

That wording does not specify how long resulting transcripts or chat histories are retained, or name the speech-processing provider. The policy also describes account-linked tracking for logged-in free users, an option for paying users to request unlinking, data export requests and account deletion within seven days. Ask for clarification if your intended conversations contain sensitive information.

Who should consider it

Lingolette is worth evaluating as supplementary practice for self-learners, students, travelers and professionals who want structured topics. Try an ordinary, low-stakes exercise first and assess the clarity of corrections before paying. Teachers considering it for a class should examine privacy and account requirements separately.
