Sensay AI helps organizations capture expertise before employees leave or change roles, then make that knowledge available to colleagues. The current Sensay website focuses on offboarding and knowledge transfer through AI-led interviews, supporting documents, and a searchable knowledge base.

From digital replicas to employee knowledge transfer

Our earlier listing described customizable digital replicas trained on a person’s content. That history is still relevant: Sensay’s January 2025 product explanation discussed preserving expertise and making it available for onboarding and collaboration. Its 2024 recap described training from YouTube, PDFs, and websites, alongside customized voices and personality settings.

The current commercial offer is more specific. It centers on retaining organizational knowledge, rather than presenting the old general-purpose replica plan ladder as today’s subscription. Earlier creator, brand-assistant, or personal-story uses should therefore be discussed with the provider instead of assumed to be included in the current offboarding package.

How the current platform works

The product overview describes creating an organization and knowledge base, inviting contributors, and collecting their expertise through Sophia, an AI interviewer. Conversations can take place in text or voice, across one session or several. Files and links provide supporting context.

Sensay describes three ways to use the resulting material:

  • Interview record: a timestamped account of the conversation.
  • Structured summary: key insights, risks, and priorities extracted from the handover.
  • Knowledge agent: questions and answers through the web interface, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or an intranet.

Administrators can tailor interviews, follow handover progress, and manage access. These are documented product capabilities, not features tested in a live employee interview for this article.

Pricing and what needs confirming

On October 20, 2026, the official pricing page displayed $500 per knowledge base per year. It lists AI-led interviews, file and link integration, storage, conversational search, and administrative controls. Larger transitions, mergers and acquisitions, or continuous knowledge capture are offered through custom discussions.

The page shows a dollar sign without an explicit currency code. Confirm currency, taxes, the number of knowledge bases required, included interview or storage limits, renewal, and cancellation terms before agreeing to a plan. The old Free, $30 Starter, $150 Professional, and $499 setup promotion are not the current offer displayed on this page. A current free allowance was not established.

Who should consider Sensay?

The clearest fit is a team that needs to transfer operational know-how: a retiring specialist’s troubleshooting process, a project owner’s handover, or the context behind recurring customer issues. Begin with a clearly bounded role and a list of questions a successor genuinely needs answered. Compare generated summaries against the contributor’s record and existing procedures before relying on them.

Knowledge capture also needs consent and careful access decisions. Agree what information an employee may share, who can see the interview, and how records will be corrected, retained, or removed. A conversational representation of someone’s knowledge should not be presented as that person’s live approval or continuing participation.

Limitations and privacy

Sensay advertises encryption and role-based access controls. Those statements are not an independent security audit or a guarantee that every proposed deployment meets your organization’s requirements. Review the applicable data-processing arrangements before uploading confidential files. This review does not validate the homepage’s retention, productivity, or return-on-investment statistics.

Older memory-care references should not be interpreted as evidence of clinical effectiveness or a substitute for qualified care. Current native mobile-app availability and the old model-selection list were not verified. The public offer reviewed here is an organizational knowledge platform.
