Updated October 16, 2026. This documentation-only review uses ReadPartner’s official product pages, support articles, and policies. We did not test a paid account, monitoring accuracy, or alert delivery.

What is ReadPartner AI?

ReadPartner is a business media-intelligence platform for collecting news and social-media coverage, analyzing sentiment and trends, and briefing teams. PR, marketing, research, and leadership teams can use its dashboard to follow brands, competitors, and industry developments. AI summaries are part of that broader monitoring workflow.

The company’s product-change announcement explains its move away from individual content summarization in 2025. Readers looking for the former article, document, or YouTube summarizer should check the current product carefully before signing up.

Key features

  • Focused monitoring: Choose keywords and sources, then filter collected coverage around the subjects your organization follows. ReadPartner describes delivery as near real time. Its media-monitoring page covers news and social sources, with configurable filters.
  • Sentiment and context: The social-listening tools analyze tone, authors, reactions, and changes in discussion. Configurable relevance filtering can help a team narrow a noisy feed; sentiment labels still need human interpretation.
  • Conversational analysis: The AI assistant answers questions about monitored mentions and metrics, such as which sources contributed to a spike or how a narrative changed across channels. The vendor describes it as support for human analysts.
  • Alerts: Notifications can flag unusual mention volumes or sentiment shifts and go to email or enterprise messaging channels. Ask which integrations are included in your proposed configuration.
  • Briefings: Email digests can run daily or weekly for selected recipients, with configurable sources and AI overviews. Executive reports combine summaries, charts, and monitoring data into PDF documents with selectable topics and sections.
  • Shared workspaces: Collaboration features include common feeds, reports, and analytics, plus visibility controls for different team responsibilities.

Pricing

The current pricing page lists three plans but publishes no dollar prices or numerical user, keyword, or daily-mention allowances. A free, non-binding demo is the route to discussing a configuration and quote.

Publicly described ReadPartner plans
Plan Listed inclusions
Essentials Keyword monitoring, social listening, analytics, and assisted onboarding.
Business Essentials features, additional team tools, expanded chat/email support, and an account manager.
Enterprise Business features, customized platform and onboarding, priority support, and API access.

For a usable quote, specify seats, keywords, daily volume, historical depth, integrations, and support needs. Request the total price, currency, taxes, add-ons, and billing interval.

Billing and refunds

The terms of service describe monthly, quarterly, or annual contracts and billing. Cancellation takes effect at the contract-period end. Payments already made are generally non-refundable; any goodwill refund is discretionary. The terms say trials may be provided, but do not establish a standard 14-day duration or an always-free plan. Ask for the trial’s length, included features, and any payment requirement before starting.

Platforms and coverage

ReadPartner is a web platform. Its product-change FAQ says Chrome extension support is discontinued until further notice and identifies English-language monitoring as its focus. Do not assume multilingual coverage or a supported browser extension from older descriptions. This review did not verify a current native iOS or Android app.

The support guide names Bluesky, YouTube, Reddit, X, and LinkedIn in its discussion of detection times. It also describes timelines for following specific news outlets or social profiles without keyword matching. Confirm the exact publications, accounts, countries, and content types your team needs during a demo.

Example workflow

Fictional example, not a product test: A communications lead at an imaginary bicycle company, Northstar Cycles, wants a weekly briefing about its commuter-bike launch.

  1. Create a project for the company name, the new model, and a competitor. Use the official project-to-briefing workflow as the starting point.
  2. Inspect the collected mentions and adjust the scope when unrelated uses of “Northstar” appear. Keep a few known articles as reference cases for checking coverage.
  3. Compare sentiment and attention over the week, then ask the assistant which publications explain a change. Open the original stories before treating the explanation as established fact.
  4. Prepare a weekly digest for the launch team and a report for leadership. Add a human-written note distinguishing verified launch coverage from speculation.

A useful evaluation question is whether the team can trace every important takeaway back to a relevant source. Set that acceptance criterion before buying, rather than relying on a visually busy dashboard.

Privacy

The privacy policy describes collection of names, email addresses, cookies, usage information, and functionality data. It names service providers including Google, Microsoft, Stripe, and Intercom. Personal data is retained as needed for the stated purposes and legal obligations; the page does not give a single fixed retention period. It says personal data is not sold or shared for advertising.

The terms state that user-provided data is not used for AI training and that the assistant has 24-hour access to certain usage data for contextual answers. That is not a promise that all account data is deleted after 24 hours.

For confidential projects, request details on data residency, subprocessors, deletion, and contractual safeguards. The security page describes encryption, access controls, monitoring, and auditing; these are vendor statements, not an independent security assessment by GPTOnline.ai.

Limits to consider

  • Delivery varies: The support documentation says initial project collection can take longer, and AI overview cards may take minutes to hours. “Real time” should not be read as a universal instant-delivery guarantee.
  • AI needs checking: The terms warn that outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or unreliable. They also restrict external redistribution of content; verify rights before republishing reports or publisher excerpts.
  • Coverage needs a practical check: Bring must-have sources and sample mentions to the demo. Ask about missed coverage, duplicated stories, historical depth, exports, and any usage caps. This review establishes no measured accuracy or time-saving result.

Who should consider it?

ReadPartner is worth evaluating when a team regularly combines media tracking, interpretation, and internal briefings. A focused demo using your own monitoring requirements is the next step. Buyers who need a quick individual summarizer, multilingual coverage, or a published self-service price should resolve those requirements before committing.

For a general way to set source-checking criteria before a trial, see our AI assistant acceptance-test worksheet. It does not establish ReadPartner’s monitoring accuracy.
