PulseDev is a small desktop app that stops you describing UI bugs to your AI coding agent. Instead, you click the element on your running site and say what is wrong, and Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, or OpenCode edits the real source. It launched on Product Hunt on October 26, 2026. Nothing touches your files until you approve the diff.
One loop: point, describe, approve
Turn on Inspect, hover your page, and click the element that needs changing. Shift-click to select more than one. PulseDev outlines each element with its selector and size, so you click the exact button, not a screenshot of it. Write the change in plain words right next to the element, and the selector, page, and viewport go along with it. The Vite plugin adds source mapping where supported, helping the agent locate the relevant code. The agent edits your source, the change shows up live, and you read the diff in the widget: Approve writes it to your files, Reject rolls it back, or reply to iterate. The widget streams every read, edit, and command beside the page, and a task board tracks fixes per page or across the whole site.
Runs locally, on your terms
PulseDev is a small server on localhost and one script tag. Tasks, messages, and diffs live as JSON files on your machine, there is no PulseDev cloud account, and it calls the coding agent you already pay for, so there are no extra tokens. It works with Vue, React, Svelte, and plain HTML, in your own browser, including pages behind a login. PulseDev is for macOS today, with Windows coming soon.
