Licensing and practical use
Do not treat all linked models as having one unrestricted licence. The Atom-7B-Chat card labels its licence Apache-2.0; Meta’s Llama 2 materials use a separate Community License with conditions. Review the exact model, code and dataset terms before using or redistributing them.
Editorial example: A developer could compare a Chinese model’s answers on a small set of non-confidential support questions, then review errors and compute requirements. This is an evaluation idea, not a test performed for this article.
