The beta branding, quizzes-in-seconds wording, exam-outcome claim, Start for free buttons and demo imagery show the former provider presentation, not verified current operation, free terms or tested learning outcomes. The homepage and quiz-maker page displayed a website error during the October 20, 2026 review; see the access note below.

Access note, October 20, 2026: Dende’s homepage and the linked quiz-maker page both displayed “There has been a critical error on this website” during this review. The features and free-tier details below summarize reviewed official documentation; current product operation, signup, free allowances and checkout were not verified. These website errors do not establish that the service has permanently closed.

Dende AI is described in its official documentation as a study assistant that builds quizzes and flashcards from a learner’s own course materials. Its official pages describe document-based practice, feedback and a study planner. Those features can help organize revision, but generated questions are not a prediction of the actual exam or a guarantee of a passing grade.

What Dende can do

  • Document-based quizzes: the official quiz-maker page lists PDF, Word, PowerPoint and text documents, including scans. It describes multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank and true-or-false practice, with feedback after answers and progress tracking.
  • Flashcards with review feedback: the flashcard guide explains that learners rate their confidence after revealing an answer. Cards they still struggle with return sooner. The guide also describes editing questions and answers, adding images and arranging custom decks.
  • Study guides: the official guide page describes organized summaries, key points and practice questions drawn from uploaded material. It supports access from tablets and mobile devices as well as other browser-capable devices; this does not establish a separate native app.
  • A personalized study plan: Dende’s July 4, 2025 feature announcement describes dividing uploaded material into smaller topics, choosing daily study hours and excluding unavailable days. Its color indicators distinguish difficult topics, material due for refresh and material the learner has mastered.
  • Source-based review: the official June 2025 product explanation says incorrect answers can lead the learner back to the relevant page or section of their notes. Check that source rather than treating an AI explanation as authoritative.

The quiz-maker page describes multilingual document support. We have not independently tested its accuracy across languages, document layouts or specialist subjects. In particular, a poor scan or missing material can make the resulting practice incomplete.

Free access and pricing

The reviewed official flashcard guide describes a limited free tier: uploads and generated cards are restricted, with free flashcards drawn from the first document page. It says a subscription unlocks unlimited file uploads and the available flashcards. That does not establish a universal limit for every other feature, and the present free allowance and subscription entitlements were not verified.

A December 19, 2023 official article advertised a displayed $6.90 for 30 days (the cited page does not establish the dollar currency) without automatic renewal. That historical offer should not be presented as today’s checkout price or renewal policy. The precise current charge, currency, billing interval, taxes and renewal terms still need to be checked in the live offer before paying.

Who it may suit

If access is available, Dende’s documented workflow may suit adult learners who already have organized notes and want repeated practice around that material. A static flashcard deck may be simpler when you need only a small set of manually verified facts. A tutor or instructor remains more appropriate when you need an authoritative explanation, assessment accommodations or feedback on complex reasoning.

A practical way to evaluate it when access is available

  1. Start with a short document you own or have permission to upload. Avoid private student records and confidential material.
  2. Compare several generated questions and answers against the original source. Check whether important sections were missed.
  3. Edit unclear flashcards, use confidence feedback honestly and set a realistic study schedule.
  4. Check the actual purchase screen for the current free allowance, paid limits and renewal terms before subscribing.

This review is based on public product documentation reviewed October 20, 2026; the direct website access limits above apply. We did not upload study materials, purchase a plan or benchmark learning outcomes. Official product information is available at Dende.
