Clayzo: Agent-First Animation Engine for Coding Agents

Clayzo is a free animation engine that lets coding agents create motion graphics, product animations, and interactive web animations from a one-sentence request.

Clayzo: animation engine for coding agents

Clayzo is a free animation engine built for coding agents. Instead of hand-animating in an editor, you describe what you want in a sentence and your coding agent writes the motion graphics, product animations, and interactive web animations for you. It launched on Product Hunt on November 2, 2026.

The core idea is that the agent does not just generate code and hope for the best. Clayzo is built agent-first: your coding agent writes the animation, then instantly sees its own frames, checks the motion, and refines it before you ever look. That feedback loop is what makes the output usable instead of a rough first draft.

How it works

Getting started takes one command: npx clayzo@latest init. After that, you ask your agent for what you want in a single sentence and it takes it from there. Clayzo works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and any agent that can run commands and load skills.

Brand assets are first-class citizens. You can hand your agent photos, logos, and brand fonts, and it builds them directly into the animation, with the assets packaged alongside. It can also read your existing components and code, and animate your actual UI rather than a mockup, which makes it practical for real product work.

Key features

  • Agent-first workflow: the agent writes animations and reviews its own rendered frames, refining motion before you see it.
  • Brand asset support: photos, logos, and fonts built into the animation and shipped with it.
  • Animate your real UI: the agent can read your existing components and animate the actual interface.
  • Plays anywhere on the web: plain HTML, React, and Next.js, plus native playback in Swift on iOS and macOS, with more platforms on the way.
  • Lightweight GPU player: the web player is less than half the size of Rive’s, and supports GPU effects like glass, refraction, dithering, and custom shaders that Lottie cannot express.

Who it is for

Clayzo is for developers and product teams who want motion graphics and product animations without a dedicated motion designer, and for anyone already working with a coding agent who wants that agent to handle visuals too. If your stack is React or Next.js, or you ship native iOS and macOS apps, the playback story is already covered.

Pricing

The core is free: you can create, embed, and export animations for your own sites and apps at no cost. Building a product on top of Clayzo, such as an agent that generates Clayzo animations for your own users, requires a license. The team can be reached at [email protected]. Pricing details are based on the official website; terms may change, so check clayzo.com for the latest.
