GetSite AI

Updated October 16, 2026. This documentation-based overview uses GetSite’s public website and help pages. We did not create an account, generate a site, test integrations, or purchase a plan.

Image note: The image above is retained from this article’s November 2025 version. It shows an earlier GetSite homepage. Its one-page description, 60-second claim, and FIRST20 promotion are historical marketing, not verified current features, build times, or offers.

What is GetSite AI?

GetSite is a browser-based AI website builder. You describe a business or project, generate a page, edit it, and add further pages. It is a possible starting point for a consultant’s website, portfolio, event landing page, or small-business brochure site. The current product supports multi-page websites.

GetSite’s March 12, 2026 release note describes a redesigned interface and major platform changes. The public website and documentation remain available at this review date; that observation does not establish service uptime or successful account access. A native desktop or mobile app was not verified.

Editing and features

Documented capabilities and practical boundaries
Area What to expect
Page editing Click-to-edit controls, AI-assisted changes, and saved versions. The full HTML/CSS/JavaScript editor requires a paid plan. Restoring a version does not change the live page until it is published again.
SEO and scripts Site settings cover indexing, sitemaps, redirects, and integrations such as analytics or chat scripts. Review the published page and its settings before relying on them.
Higher tiers The plan comparison places CMS, email campaigns, A/B tests, Stripe payments, and Zapier on Developer or above. Agency adds the REST API, MCP server, and lead tools.
Payments The documented Stripe feature creates payment links; checkout and transaction management remain in Stripe. It should not be evaluated as a complete store-management system.
Automation The documented Zapier action generates and publishes a site. GetSite’s automation guide does not document a form-submission webhook trigger.

Plans and credits

The public pricing page lists the following subscriptions. Annual totals come from the pricing documentation. Prices retain the site’s dollar symbol: the reviewed subscription pages do not explicitly identify an ISO currency. Confirm currency, tax, and the final charge before payment.

GetSite subscription prices checked October 16, 2026
Plan Monthly billing Yearly billing Monthly credits Site / domain limits
Maker $10/month $84/year 100 10 / 10
Developer $40/month $336/year 500 50 / 50
Agency $160/month $1,344/year 2,500 Unlimited / unlimited

Domain limits include GetSite subdomains. Annual billing is a yearly commitment with credits issued monthly. The pricing documentation says a free account can build and preview one site, while publishing an AI-generated site requires a paid plan.

The account guide specifies 60 signup credits and another 10 after email verification. Accounts created from India or Brazil, or using a deleted account’s email address, do not receive those free credits. Subscription credits reset each cycle without rollover; purchased and bonus credits are retained. Published top-ups are one-time purchases: 100 credits for $20, 250 for $40, 500 for $70, or 1,000 for $120. Cancellation leaves the plan active until the paid period ends.

According to the creation guide, a page starts at 20 credits with the default model; optional page images add 10. Higher-cost model choices and other add-ons can increase the total. The editor guide says AI page edits start at 10 credits, with additional cost based on code size. Budget for revisions as well as the initial build.

Hosting, domains and export

The publishing guide describes Cloudflare hosting with SSL. It also documents an exception to paid AI-site publishing: uploading your own finished HTML can publish on a free GetSite subdomain. If a subscription ends, existing live sites remain online, but publishing changes requires a subscription again.

Export is unresolved: the homepage promises downloadable site ZIP files, while the documentation FAQ says export is unavailable. The publishing guide also says there is no site download. Obtain confirmation from GetSite before choosing it for a project that must move to another host.

The domain guide describes registering a domain, connecting an existing domain through nameserver changes, or linking a subdomain with a CNAME record. Registration is separately priced in USD. It says renewals are manual and that connecting nameservers does not transfer the registration. This conflicts with automatic-renewal and transfer language on the marketing page; verify the exact process before changing a live business domain.

An example brief

The following is an original, fictional brief to help plan a small brochure site. It has not been submitted to GetSite, and no generated result is implied:

“Create a website for Cedar Lane Ceramics, a fictional pottery studio. Start with a home page introducing beginner workshops, a small gallery, and a button leading to a contact section. Use warm neutral colors and readable text. Mark every sample class time, price, address, and photograph as a placeholder. Suggest separate About and Workshops pages. Do not invent testimonials, qualifications, or customer numbers.”

Before publishing, replace the placeholders, verify image permissions, check every page on a phone, and test forms and contact links. Keep a separate copy of your approved text and assets while export support remains uncertain. GetSite’s creation documentation says the initial prompt flow rejects requests for apps, dashboards, games, login/database products, and blogs. Scope a trial around an informational website.

Privacy and cautions

Draft links deserve care: the publishing documentation says anyone with a draft URL can view it. Avoid confidential client information in a preview intended for wider sharing.

The privacy policy, dated December 11, 2023, gives broad statements about information collection, retention, and protection. It does not explain AI-training use, name AI subprocessors, or provide a detailed retention schedule. Resolve those points with the provider before entering sensitive material.

The terms, also dated December 11, 2023, describe a one-time software license without recurring fees, which conflicts with current subscription pricing. They also state that refunds are unavailable. Confirm the applicable billing and refund terms before purchasing. This review does not verify security assurances, uptime percentages, search rankings, or time-to-launch claims.

Bottom line: GetSite merits a documentation-led comparison for small informational websites, particularly when visual editing and hosted publishing are useful. Its conflicting export, domain, and billing descriptions are important questions to settle before committing a client project.
