Gyroscope: tracking, AI and optional human coaching
| Name | Gyroscope |
| Overview | Gyroscope combines personal activity and wellness tracking with reports and AI-assisted coaching. Its iPhone-focused platform brings together information such as sleep, movement and food logs. It is a tracking and lifestyle tool, not a substitute for medical assessment or a guarantee of weight loss, muscle gain or longer life. |
| Key features & benefits |
|
| Use cases and applications | Organize personal activity records, compare recorded trends and prepare questions about those records. A correlation in a dashboard does not establish a cause or prescribe a treatment. |
| Who uses? | People who want a consolidated view of their activity and lifestyle records and are comfortable with the service’s data-processing arrangements. |
| Pricing | The terms identify a limited Basic free tier plus paid One and Max memberships. Max options can include additional human coaching. Advanced AI usage may have token limits. Exact current charges, billing currency, add-ons and renewal conditions depend on the selected plan and purchase channel; no universal current price was verified here. Review the checkout terms rather than treating an advertised daily equivalent or conditional reward as a guaranteed net cost. |

| App available? | Yes. The current website prominently identifies iPhone apps, with web access and a desktop beta also listed. Current Android feature parity and supported-device requirements were not verified for this review. |
Review the records before interpreting a trend
A practical example is comparing recorded bedtime and activity across two weeks, then checking for missing syncs or travel days before drawing conclusions. This is a suggested data-review exercise, not a test performed with a Gyroscope account. Do not change medication or make treatment decisions based on an AI message or score; discuss medical questions with an appropriately qualified professional.
Privacy and coaching limits
Gyroscope’s privacy policy describes server-side storage and processing. Relevant request content may be sent to external AI providers, and user-connected assistants have separate data-sharing implications. These policy statements are not an independent security audit or proof that no third party processes information. Review permissions before connecting sensitive records.
The terms caution that AI responses can be inaccurate and that Health Score and lifespan estimates are not diagnoses or promises of future health. Human coaching is a separate service option, not evidence that every AI response receives individual clinical review.
