Status and identity: This is a historical profile of the professional-coaching service Wave AI at wave.ai. Alan’s 2024 Q2 shareholder letter reports its acquisition of Wave.ai’s assets. That does not establish that the original coaching subscription remains available, or that an Alan product is a direct replacement. The original website could not be retrieved during this review; that retrieval failure alone does not prove closure.
The retained image shows an earlier Wave homepage. Its capture date is unknown, and its free-start invitation and coaching preview do not establish a current offer or results from our testing.
| Name | Wave AI |
| Overview | Wave combined professional coaching with technology for personal and workplace development. Earlier provider material described coaching objectives, tailored routines and progress tracking. These are historical service descriptions, not confirmation of a currently available subscription or independently measured benefits. |
| Key features & benefits |
The provider later announced a primarily AI-driven, mobile-first beta with human oversight; this does not verify present staffing or availability. |
| Use cases and applications |
These are coaching uses, not guaranteed career outcomes or clinical treatment. |
| Who uses? | Professionals and individuals interested in structured personal development; suitability depends on the actual service and its current terms. |
| Pricing | Current prices, subscription conditions and free-access availability were not verified. The former Core/Deep price list is not presented as a current offer. |
| Tags | Professional Coaching, AI Coaching, Leadership, Personal Development |
| App available? | Wave previously announced a mobile-first coaching app. Current store availability, compatibility and account access were not verified; the earlier blanket “No app” statement was therefore misleading. |
Practical context and limitations
A hypothetical coaching exercise would be to identify one difficult delegation conversation, write down the desired outcome and prepare a question to ask the colleague. This example is not a Wave output or a claim that the service can currently be used. Coaching is distinct from psychotherapy and does not guarantee a promotion, improved wellbeing or a particular decision.
Before sharing sensitive workplace or personal information with any available successor service, verify its identity, account access, data handling and current terms. An acquisition announcement does not establish consent for new processing or the current privacy arrangements.
